La passione per il gioiello d’antiquariato e l’emozione di creare un gioiello unico sono state raccolte da Mirella Denti nella gioielleria di via Manzoni. In una cornice déco, con pareti in pergamena e cuciture in sfere di ottone, si percepisce che cosa significhi per lei «avere l’unicità nell’antico e nel moderno»: pezzi esclusivi recuperati dal passato (dall’Ottocento, dal primo Liberty, dagli anni ’40-’50) e pezzi altrettanto esclusivi da lei stessa disegnati nel presente convivono grazie all’autenticità artistica della storia che trasmettono. La sua idea di creazione parte dalla valorizzazione dell’estrosità di una pietra, di un diamante, di una perla. Per arrivare a un gioiello che racchiude l’amore per il design e per la manifattura.

The passion for antique jewellery and the feeling of creating a unique jewellery piece come together in Mirella Denti’s boutique in via Manzoni. An Art-Deco backdrop with walls in parchment and stitched brass spheres allows one to understand what she means by «uniqueness in the antique and the modern»: unique pieces taken from the past (from the 19th century, the beginning of Art Nouveau, the ‘40s and ‘50s) and equally exclusive pieces designed by her. She starts by making the most of the special flair of each stone, diamond and pearl, resulting in a jewellery piece that captures the love of design and manufacture. |
